At Sonnets Theatre School the pupils learn how to articulate and gain confidence standing in front of an audience. We explore different aspects of performing arts incorporating improvisation, devised drama, script reading, movement, physical theatre and working in a team with the class to develop a invaluable skill set and most of all have fun performing.
Term dates: Andover and Salisbury start back Saturday 14 September 2024, each term is for 10 weeks with a 2 week break over October half term. The last class of term will be on Saturday 30 November 2024.

David Phaure: Sonnets Company Director understands how the arts can make a difference to young peoples lives and be used in a positive way. He has over 20 years experience in teaching and running performing arts workshops for young people. He established Sonnets Theatre School to make high quality performing arts training more affordable and to help children either to become a professional artist or gain confidence and invaluable life skills.

Children at Sonnets Theatre School are given equal opportunity to perform in the annual showcases from the beginners to the experienced. Sonnets Coaches offer a wide syllabus of acting skills for stage, TV and Radio.

David holds a professional performing arts qualification from ALRA an accredited Drama School. He also teaches LAMDA fulltime at Farleigh Preparatory School and has also published three books to date: A collection of monologues for children, A collection of duologues for children and a one act play called Bully or Victim.
